Nowhere in the world has as much fantastic skiing on its doorstep as Chamonix.
Not only can you ski  the Chamonix valley but you will also be taken to a selection of the 20 or so nearby  ski areas in 3 countries. The areas will be chosen on a day to day basis according to snow and weather conditions and the needs of the group. We've been running this very popular programme since 1991.

From your comfortable chalet base, short drives of maximum one hour from Les Houches will bring you to a pick of some of the 20 major ski areas in the Mont Blanc region. Travel in style in Volkswagon, air conditioned four-wheel drive minibus. Lift tickets aren't included. You can purchase these daily and the total week shouldn't cost more than the normal one week Chamonix area lift passes. Any day you don't want to ski, you don't have to pay for a ticket. It's like having a refund! Normally chalet owner Oliver likes to ski with you four days in the week. While this is an included item whenever you are in Switzerland or in Italy it is not an included part of the holiday and no payment is made for this while in France. In France whenever he skis with you it is because he wants to.

Chalet owner Oliver Ensor holds the  top US ski instructor qualification and passed the top Austrian ski instructor qualification available to foreigners while he was living in Austria.  He is also British qualified.  By visiting an Austrian Instructor's refresher course every year Oliver is able to keep up with current ski trends.  Oliver looks forward to guiding you and offering you ski tips.  Oliver has filmed for "Discovery Channel" so you'll have some quality film footage to enjoy after your holiday on youtube.

Each skiing safari week runs from Sunday to Sunday and will include:

LIFT PASSES aren't included. You will be buying them on a daily basis at the ski areas we visit. On average the weekly cost will work out around the same as the main Chamonix lift pass, depending on where we ski during the week. Normally the total amount will be similar or cheaper than the Chamonix Mont-Blanc pass.
